Countershaft Seal Dr650. Or maybe worse your seal popped out? i thought it would be good insurance to install a counter shaft seal. the countershaft seal on my 2003 dr650 popped partially out on startup the other day. remove your cs sprocket. countershaft seal (pre 2012 models only) in some instance the countershaft will move out of position resulting in the bike dumping all it’s oil… suzuki fixed that issue after 2012, you can get the original countershaft seal for post 2012 from any suzuki dealer. Use a pick of some kind to pull the old seal out. In any case, this is a quality. And replace with a new one. I have replaced this seal. Im going to do some of the mods that everyone suggests but im having trouble. our kit includes a brand new seal if yours is showing sing of fatigue, leaks or already popped out, and a genuine. do you have a leak behind the front sprocket making a terrible mess in the area?
